Beautiful Golden Eyebrow - Jin Jun Mei - 金骏眉

Description

One always comes short when describing a Tea like Jin Jun Mei, it is a Tea that all tea lovers should try at least once. Sadly, its price makes is difficult to be enjoyed often but its well worth it.

Jin Jun Mei became extremely famous in china, and fakes of it are abundant. Many tea makers are very good at making decent fakes of Jin Jun Mei, which come at lower price and not such bad profile, but never as the real thing. When we say real, we refer to the proper terroir, varietal, processing and location.

Our Tea comes from the upper levels of the Mountain inside the village of Tong Mu in Fujian, not far from Wuyi Shan where famous Cliff or Rock Wulongs are produced. Its quantity is limited and has to be pre ordered months before the harvest start, hence the limited quantity of it.

Tasting Notes:

Very aromatic, honey sweet and fruity, mellow. Its taste fills up the mouth with its delicate and full-bodied texture, fruits, flowers and mellowness describe this tea.

Drinking Tips:

  • – Please take your time when enjoying this Tea!
  • – This is a delicate tea; its taste won’t come out as heavy as if you were infusing a tea bag.
  • – Fantastic for tea gatherings and inviting tea friends.
  • – Try infusing it with water at 85°-90°, not that it won’t withstand boiling water, it just to get more out of it.

Notes for Tea Nerds:

* All of our product pictures for the Tea soup features the middle infusion combined. (if the tea can be infused 8 times, then we combine 4th-5th to take the picture)

* All of our product pictures featured a bit more quantity of tea leaves infused, that’s because we have heavier palate and we are drinking the teas as we take the pictures 😉

* The number of infusions  for each product consider infusions with easily recognized taste, we do not count infusions that have its taste already fading away; said this each tea can be infused more times if desired. Also many of our teas can be boiled after being infused.
